Job summary

Sysco's World Class Sales Team in Michigan seeks an experienced Sales Professional to promote products, grow accounts, and build relationships with new and existing customers in Ferndale, Berkley, Clawson, Madison Heights, Warren, and surrounding communities.

The role is outside sales with non-traditional hours may be required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience is preferred; bilingual skills and restaurant/foodservice background are a plus; Sysco offers training, a robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience per job posting.
• 3+ years in Restaurant Management or B2B/outside sales is acceptable.
• Experience in sales in foodservice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and maximize profitable sales in the assigned territory.
• Qualify prospects and align products to customer needs.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Attend sales and district meetings and ongoing training.
• Coordinate with credit and routing for orders and deliveries.
