Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to drive growth across Caro, MI and neighboring towns. You will promote Sysco products, build new relationships, and support existing accounts with tailored solutions.

This role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll join a structured sales team with extensive training and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field, OR 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting company insurability standards.
• Reside or be willing to relocate to the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop a tailored mix of products and services.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs and goals.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and attend meetings and events.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Coordinate deliveries and troubleshoot order issues with inventory and routing.
• Review daily/weekly reports and prepare sales budgets and quotes.
