Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services across the Wausau and Marshfield, WI area. The role focuses on building relationships with new and existing accounts to meet sales and profit goals and may require evening, weekend, or holiday hours to satisfy customer needs.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related fields; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR equivalent experience including Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-lingual ability is preferred.
• Experience in restaurant management or B2B outside sales is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and align solutions to customer needs.
• Present product information and train customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to accounts and events as required.
• Collaborate with credit to collect balances due per terms.
• Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues within routing schedules.
• Participate in sales meetings and ongoing training.
• Prepare quotes, budgets, and sales reports.
