Job summary
Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced industrial coding, marking, and printing equipment across a regional territory. The role combines electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with hands-on field work, extensive training, and independent accountability.
Salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, DOE, with overtime and performance bonuses.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of relevant technical field service or military experience.
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex industrial equipment.
- Willingness to travel for training and field assignments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor equipment performance and identify issues to prevent downtime.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair industrial printing, coding and marking equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing to maximize reliability.
- Manage service activity across a regional territory and maintain work orders.
- Document equipment issues and resolutions in service records.
- Manage parts inventory and order components as needed.
- Communicate issues and solutions clearly to customers and provide professional service.
