Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Alabama seeks a Field Specialist to develop and maintain customer relationships within an assigned territory.

You will lead Product Knowledge events, support sales efforts, and provide technical expertise to stores and contractors. The role involves visiting contractors and retail locations, passing leads to Account Managers, promoting new products, and generating new business through the store programs.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stores, and contractors.
• Visit contractors and retail locations according to the proposal schedule.
• Lead Product Knowledge (PK) events at retail locations and in the field.
• Field technical product calls and provide guidance to stores and contractors.
• Assist stores and contractors in generating project material lists.
• Pass leads to Account Managers and support the sales process as needed.
• Promote new products and services to generate new business leads.
• Generate leads through the store Special Orders program.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
