Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Field Sales Engagement Specialist to build relationships with customers, stores, and contractors. You will visit locations per schedule, lead product knowledge events, and support the sales process.

You will generate leads through store programs, prepare reports, and collaborate with Account Managers. Strong English communication and multitasking are essential.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stores, and contractors.
• Visit contractors and retail locations according to the proposal schedule.
• Lead Product Knowledge (PK) events at retail locations and in the field.
• Field technical product calls and provide guidance to stores and contractors.
• Assist stores and contractors in generating project material lists.
• Pass leads to Account Managers and support the sales process; promote new products and services; generate leads via store Special Orders.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Knowledge & Support: Lead Product Knowledge (PK) events at retail locations and in the field.
• Field technical product calls and provide guidance to stores and contractors.
• Assist stores and contractors in generating project material lists.
• Sales Collaboration: Pass leads to Account Managers and support the sales process as needed. Promote new products and services to generate new business leads. Generate leads through the store Special Orders program.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports and correspondence as required.

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all organizational levels and the public.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Professional telephone and office etiquette.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $70,000/year (specific yearly salary may vary based on experience and other factors).
• Annual Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance.
