Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Field Service Technician to manage service delivery for our Institutional business in the Norfolk area. You will install, maintain, and repair chemical dispensing systems and leased dish machines at customer locations, while ensuring high levels of service and adherence to SLAs.

The role requires a hands-on, customer-focused individual with mechanical/electrical aptitude, who can work independently and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year field service experience with industrial equipment maintenance.
• 1 year experience selling cleaning solutions or equipment to clients (hospitality/food service).
• Willingness to support after-hours emergencies, including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, MS Office, SharePoint, PowerApps).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean record; travel as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate hand/power tools.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Independent, customer-focused, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experience supporting Diversey’s cleaning and sanitation programs.
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels.
• Install, monitor, and service equipment to meet SLAs and program goals.
• Provide operator training on equipment operation, cleaning procedures, and SDS.
• Maintain accurate service reports in Salesforce FSL and other systems.
• Manage on-site inventory and coordinate with management for planning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and system performance.
