Job summary

Diversey in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Field Service Technician to manage institutional service within a designated territory. You will install, maintain, and repair dispensing systems and leased dish machines at customer sites, delivering top-tier service and meeting SLAs for laundry, kitchen, and other programs.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year field service experience, mechanical troubleshooting skills, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of field service experience with maintenance of industrial equipment
• Minimum 1 year experience selling cleaning solutions or equipment to clients in hospitality or food service
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to drive long distances as needed
• Flexibility to support emergency business needs including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, MS Office) and mobile apps

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experience by supporting Diversey’s cleaning and sanitation programs
• Build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels
• Install equipment per SOPs and perform routine site visits
• Monitor program performance and customer satisfaction
• Provide training to customers on equipment operation and SDS
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Maintain inventory levels in company vehicles and storage
• Complete service/installation reports in Salesforce FSL
• Perform administrative tasks including timesheets and order follow-ups
