Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Norfolk, VA area. You will install, maintain, and repair chemical dispensing systems and leased dish machines at customer locations, ensuring high service standards and SLA adherence.

You will build trusted relationships, train customers on equipment and SDS, monitor program performance, and manage inventory while following safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year field service experience, including maintenance of industrial equipment and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 1 year experience selling cleaning solutions or equipment to clients in hospitality or food service.
• Flexibility to support emergency business needs, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, Excel, Word), SharePoint, PowerApps, and mobile apps.
• Valid U.S. drivers license with ability to drive long distances as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by supporting Diversey0s cleaning and sanitation programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels within the organization.
• Promote safety by adhering to EHS policies and best practices.
• Install equipment per SOPs and complete reports in Salesforce FSL.
• Conduct site visits to monitor program performance and customer satisfaction.
• Train customers on equipment operation, cleaning procedures, product usage, and SDS.
