As a Sales Technician, you will be the field presence, building relationships with municipal plant personnel and documenting site conditions to identify new sales opportunities. The role requires travel across the assigned territory, CRM data maintenance, and collaboration with the Sales Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical field preferred.
• Experience in water/wastewater, industrial sales, field service, or technical support required.
• Familiarity with municipal water/wastewater treatment plants or process equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the designated Florida territory to learn municipal plant operations.
• Meet plant staff to gather contacts and discuss treatment challenges.
• Record plant information in company systems and maintain plant files.
• Identify improvement, expansion, or replacement opportunities and report to Sales Director.
• Assist field technicians on diagnostics or repair visits as directed by Sales Director.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and support vendor projects within the territory.
• Provide end-of-day reports with plant scorecards, photos, and notes.
• Maintain territory contact data with Contract Administrator and support coverage goals.
