Job summary

Acosta, Inc. is seeking a field sales representative to call on independent stores in Georgia. You will present products, secure orders, coordinate promotions, and manage turnover orders to distributors based on monthly priorities.

You’ll visit assigned stores at least monthly, develop relationships with store buyers and regional managers, and support merchandising and events while complying with plan-o-gram guidelines and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of outside sales and retail experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and drive regularly.
• Willing to travel overnight and work weekends/holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores in the territory at least monthly.
• Present new items for our clients and secure orders.
• Present promos to store buyers and secure orders; arrange displays.
• Plan promos up to three months ahead with buyers.
• Ensure distribution and stock in existing items; coordinate with distributors.
• Enter turnover orders and transmit for delivery.
• Support store events, demos, remodels, and openings.
• Maintain product knowledge and relationships with regional managers.
• Report issues, trends, and competitive activity to management.
