Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Dealer Sales Representative to service existing accounts and pursue growth across the Mid/Atlantic region. You will build relationships with retail store personnel and corporate decision makers to support sales initiatives and product recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience.
• High School Diploma or higher; Bachelor's preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiating and presentation skills.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate product recommendations (application, performance, training, and color).
• Service existing customer accounts and find opportunities for growth within the sales territory.
• Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
• Use Customer Relationship Manager tool to handle accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
• Analyze territory performance and develop sales territory business plans.
• Use initiative in handling customer problems, complaints and warranty issues to resolve in a timely manner.
• Prioritize/conduct dealer/end-user education and product information seminars.
