Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Dealer Sales Representative to support existing accounts and drive growth across Mid/Eastern Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia, Delaware Shore, and SE Pennsylvania. You will build strong relationships with retail staff and corporate decision makers to expand business and recommend products, colors, and training.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and preferably coatings industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience required.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, negotiating and presentation skills.
• Coatings or building industry knowledge preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate product recommendations (application, performance, training, and color).
• Service existing customer accounts and find opportunities for growth within the sales territory.
• Develop account planning strategies and identify growth potential in accounts.
• Use CRM to manage accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports.
• Analyze territory performance and develop sales territory business plans.
• Address customer problems and warranty issues promptly.
• Prioritize/host dealer and end-user education seminars.
