Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Dealer Sales Representative to service existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for growth within the assigned territory. Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will cover Mid/Eastern Maryland, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, Delaware Shore, and Southeastern Pennsylvania.

You will build relationships with retail staff and corporate decision makers, provide product recommendations and color guidance, and utilize CRM to manage

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business related field strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate product recommendations (application, performance, training, and color).
• Service existing customer accounts and find opportunities for growth within the sales territory.
• Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
• Use Customer Relationship Manager tool to handle accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
• Analyze territory performance and develop sales territory business plans.
• Use initiative in handling customer problems, complaints and warranty issues to resolve in a timely manner.
• Prioritize/conduct dealer/end-user education and product information seminars.
