Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Dealer Sales Representative to service existing customer accounts and uncover growth opportunities within the sales territory. You will work with retail store personnel and key decision makers at corporate offices across Mid/Eastern Maryland, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, Delaware Shore, and Southeastern Pennsylvania to grow their business.

Responsibilities include product recommendations, account planning, using CRM tools, analyzing territory

Qualifications

2+ years of sales experience.
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, negotiating and presentation skills are required.
Coatings or building industry knowledge is preferred.
Must possess a valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Facilitate product recommendations (application, performance, training, and color).
Service existing customer accounts and find opportunities for growth within the sales territory.
Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
Use Customer Relationship Manager tool to handle accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
Analyze territory performance and develop sales territory business plans.
Use initiative in handling customer problems, complaints and warranty issues to resolve in a timely manner.
Prioritize/conduct dealer/end-user education and product information seminars.
