Job summary

Mitchell Companies is hiring a Pre-Sales Representative to manage an assigned route and achieve sales and merchandising objectives in the Washington, DC area. This is a field-based role requiring daily travel within the territory.

You will focus on building customer relationships, growing product distribution, and delivering strong merchandising standards while providing excellent service to accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic computer/tablet skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and marketing goals for your assigned route.
• Sell promotions and grow product distribution and sales.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Identify new, inactive, and growth opportunities within the territory.
• Maintain strong product displays, POS materials, and merchandising standards.
• Monitor inventory and help prevent out-of-stocks.
• Provide excellent customer service and fulfill account needs.
• Complete accurate orders, reports, and required documentation.
• Maintain company vehicle and follow all safety and company policies.
• Assist with special events, holiday pull-ups, and weekend deliveries as needed.
