Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Sales Representative to develop new business and grow revenue across an assigned territory. The role focuses on selling injection molding and extrusion machinery, while identifying aftermarket, retrofit, rebuild, and service opportunities.

The representative will own opportunities through the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—and build strategic account plans, cultivate executive relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to cover accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside B2B field sales experience.
• Proven success hunting and closing new business.
• Experience selling technical products, capital equipment, industrial machinery, or manufacturing solutions.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiation and close.
• Strong territory management, pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM skills.
• Comfortable cold calling, visiting manufacturing plants, and engaging new decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new accounts within the assigned territory.
• Generate new-logo revenue through outbound outreach, plant visits, referrals, and networking.
• Identify greenfield and underpenetrated opportunities and drive growth.
• Sell injection molding and extrusion machinery based on customer needs.
• Identify retrofit, rebuild, service, or aftermarket opportunities.
• Lead value-based conversations with manufacturing and operational decision-makers.
