Job summary

Land O'Lakes is seeking a Feed Sales Specialist to represent Purina Animal Nutrition products to dealers, co-ops and producers in SC and GA. You will cultivate relationships and pursue new sales in horse, cattle, family flock, and exotic markets, with territory focus on SC/GA.

In this field role, you’ll collaborate with customers, manage diverse sales calls, and use Salesforce/Power BI to track activities, analyze data, and drive decisions. Travel 10–20% overnight is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of sales and/or animal nutrition experience.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow strong relationships with assigned dealers and co‑ops.
• Understand customer and market needs and communicate how Purina’s portfolio addresses them.
• Manage a range of sales calls with moderate supervision.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with defined accounts/territories.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer operations to align strategies.
• Use Salesforce to manage interactions and Power BI to support activities.
• Analyze sales data and customer information to inform decisions.
