Zusammenfassung

Land O’Lakes is seeking a Feed Sales Specialist to promote Purina Animal Nutrition products to dealers and co-ops in SC and GA. You will manage dealer relationships, drive growth at the farm gate, and expand distribution in the assigned market.

The role requires travel 10–20% and collaboration with internal teams to optimize sales processes. The position emphasizes relationship-building, data-driven decisions, and territory development, with compensation comprising base salary plus commission

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or a related field.
Typically 3–5 years of relevant sales and/or animal nutrition experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel overnight 10–20%.

Aufgaben

Build and grow strong relationships with dealers and co-ops to promote Purina Animal Nutrition products within the market.
Gain understanding of customer needs and communicate how the Purina product portfolio addresses them.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Manage a range of sales calls with moderate supervision.
Qualify, pursue, and close new opportunities as required.
