Job summary

Versatex seeks an Area Sales Manager for Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Louisville markets to grow dealer networks and drive demand for Versatex Trim and Siding among builders, architects, and contractors. This role is an individual contributor position reporting to a Regional Sales Manager.

You will manage end-user relationships, conduct field sales calls, support distributor plans, and represent Versatex at trade shows regionally, with travel across the territory as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of outside sales experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related.
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a target list of dealers, architects, builders, remodelers and contractors/installers.
• Maintain aggressive end-user call schedule; meet with end users to drive awareness of Versatex products.
• Provide in-field training to builders, remodelers, installers and other end users.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributor management and dealer reps.
• Schedule and conduct field sales calls with dealer and distribution reps.
• Create distributor plans, monitor performance and take corrective action.
• Train dealer/distributor reps on marketing funds usage.
• Respond to end user questions about products, availability, applications and terms.
• Assist in warranty claims process in the field.
• Prepare sales analysis reports and maintain CRM records.
