Job summary

The AZEK Company, via its Versatex brand, is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Louisville to grow sales of Versatex Trim and Siding. This role focuses on building strong relationships with distributors, architects and end users to drive product demand in the assigned territory.

You will report to a Regional Sales Manager as an individual contributor, travel as needed, and leverage consultative selling and negotiation skills to meet targets in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years outside sales experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Sales process experience, particularly in consultative selling and negotiation
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage dealer/architect/end-user relationships in territory
• Maintain aggressive end-user call schedule to generate awareness of Versatex products
• Provide in-field training to builders, remodelers, installers and end users
• Schedule field sales calls with dealer and distribution representatives
• Create distributor plans and monitor performance; take corrective action
• Represent Versatex at trade shows and prepare sales analysis reports
