Job summary

Forklifts Group in Orange, CA is seeking a New Equipment Sales Representative to drive new business and build lasting customer relationships. The role focuses on identifying prospects, presenting compelling proposals, and coordinating truck offerings to meet clients’ material handling needs.

You will work with service and other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions, maintain regular contact with customers, and continuously grow the territory while representing Forklifts Group with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of outside sales experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to insurance company.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to develop relationships with customers.
• Minimal travel outside of territory (trade shows, training).
• Smart dress and a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospects in an assigned territory and develop business relationships.
• Develop proposals and forecasts; present them to customers.
• Coordinate the presentation of all new truck proposals in person to potential customers.
• Engage customers with consultative sales approach and demonstrate our material handling solutions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to cross-sell and ensure a great customer experience.
• Maintain regular communication with service to resolve and troubleshoot customer issues.
