Job summary

Forklifts Group in Orange, CA is seeking a Product Support Sales Representative to identify prospects, develop sales strategies, and close deals for forklift parts, service, and rentals. You will build strong customer relationships in the territory, schedule appointments, generate leads, and collaborate with service, rental, and parts teams to deliver solutions.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, 2+ years outside sales, valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Two or more years of outside sales experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to insurance company.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers clearly.
• Ability to develop relationships with customers.
• Minimal travel outside of territory (trade shows, training).
• Smart dress and a professional appearance.
• Experience selling heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Arranges appointments with customers including pre-arranged or cold calls.
• Generates leads, follows up, and networks through current customers to acquire new business.
• Adapts to customer buying style and uses proven sales techniques to demonstrate solutions.
• Collaborates with internal departments to develop cross-selling strategies and ensure a great customer experience.
• Maintains regular communication with Service and Rental Departments to resolve issues quickly.
• Initiates and processes sales orders in SAGE for part purchases.
• Reviews Sales Representative Scorecard monthly with Sales Manager.
• Attends team meetings to review department goals and strategies.
• Develops annual sales goals with the Sales Manager and works toward meeting them.
• Monitors territory by making daily sales calls.
• Uses Salesforce CRM to track daily customer interactions.
• Maintains professionalism and reliability on the job.
