Job summary

United Rentals in Oklahoma is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to be the voice and initial contact for customers, using consultative sales to turn interested parties into loyal clients. You will build relationships, understand needs, and promote our equipment and services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, three years of sales experience, and strong communication. You’ll manage a defined territory, develop plans, and use CRM tools to grow the pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years of sales experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined geographical territory.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and their subsidiary companies.
• Prospect and qualify new accounts from existing and non-customer sources.
• Collaborate with specialty division representatives for cross-selling.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Utilize CRM tools to develop pipeline of opportunities.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development.
