Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions in Calverton seeks a full-time Client Retention Representative to serve local businesses across the Greater Calverton area. You’ll build lasting relationships with business owners, review electricity and natural gas plans, and present competitive supplier options that fit each client’s needs.

You’ll focus on existing accounts while growing a book of business through renewals and residual commissions, with occasional travel within about 30 miles of the office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to meet with business owners face-to-face.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Identify opportunities to reduce energy costs for clients.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on client needs.
• Support customers through renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between appointments.
• Travel within an assigned territory (about 30 miles).
