Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring full-time Client Retention Representatives in Calverton, MD, to help local business owners review energy plans, compare suppliers, and protect ongoing relationships. You’ll grow a portfolio while supporting renewals and new business development in the Greater Calverton area.

You’ll start in a role that emphasizes relationship building and face-to-face meetings, with training, support, and a clear path to leadership as the company expands into 20+ markets

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face‑to‑face.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Meet face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on customer needs.
• Support customers through renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between customer appointments.
• Travel within an assigned territory (typically within a 30‑mile radius).
