Job summary

SERVPRO® of South Orange County is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead referral development and revenue growth across South Orange County. This hands-on, field-based role involves identifying prospects, building relationships, and generating qualified referrals while managing the territory.

You’ll collaborate with operations to ensure smooth handoffs from referral to service delivery and represent the company at professional associations and events.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of business development or outside sales experience.
• Proven success generating referrals and meeting sales goals.
• Strong understanding of restoration services and referral partner needs.
• Confidence with prospecting, cold calling, presentations, and asking for business.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout South Orange County and manage a territory.
• Strong communication, organization, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to grow referral sources, strengthen existing accounts, and achieve revenue goals.
• Build relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, facility managers, plumbers, contractors, and business owners.
• Conduct consistent prospecting through in‑person visits, phone calls, meetings, and targeted follow‑up.
• Identify new business opportunities, present SERVPRO® services, and ask for referrals.
• Represent the company at professional associations, networking events, lunch‑and‑learns, and continuing education opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, including contacts, activity, opportunities, and next steps.
• Collaborate with operations to communicate customer needs and support a smooth handoff from referral to service delivery.
• Ensure presentations and business development materials follow SERVPRO® brand standards.
