Job summary

SURGE Staffing is seeking a Branch Manager to drive growth across a defined geographic area. You will develop and execute sales strategies, prospect new accounts, and manage client relationships to achieve profits and forecasts.

You will collaborate with field management, conduct sales calls, and coordinate presentations, proposals, and demonstrations. Travel to client locations is expected as part of building long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in business development and outside direct sales.
• 3+ years in outside direct sales including building sales strategies and closing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet.
• Ability to travel to various locations.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with the local area.

Responsibilities

• Develop account sales plans for target accounts with Manager.
• Identify prospects and develop strategies to secure new business.
• Conduct prospect and account sales calls independently and with staff.
• Lead on identified target accounts and create account plans.
• Collaborate to enhance product knowledge and implement solutions.
• Drive sales closure to shorten sales cycle and meet goals.
• Analyze prospect needs to apply products/services effectively.
• Establish local business contacts through networking events.
• Record all activity in company database and reports.
• Respond to customer inquiries and support needs.
• Perform other duties to ensure operations.
