Job summary

Virginia Eagle Distributing (VED) is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to manage a defined Lynchburg territory. You’ll sell VED’s full portfolio — beer, RTDs, and non-alcoholic beverages — and cultivate relationships with store managers, buyers, and delivery teams to drive volume and shelf presence.

This is a commission-based role with three compensation components: estimated commission, quota bonuses, and pay-for-performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in sales/beverage distribution is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined territory of on-premise and off-premise accounts on a call schedule.
• Sell VED's full portfolio — beer, RTDs, and non-alcoholic beverages — and hit volume, distribution, and display goals.
• Execute new item sell-in, promotional programs, and pricing as directed; communicate completion and barriers.
• Build and maintain dominant display and shelf presence at every account.
• Coordinate daily with delivery drivers and merchandisers on displays, deliveries, and POS.
• Track and report competitive pricing, promotions, and new placements within your territory.
