Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking an entry-level Vehicle Remarketing Sales Associate for SmartAuction to cover a territory including Peoria, IL; Danville, IL; St. Louis, MO; and Quincy, IL. You will drive dealer engagement, onboarding, and training to grow activity on the online auction platform.

Daily local travel is required, a company vehicle is provided, and successful candidates combine communication skills with a willingness to learn in a commission-based environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial services, automotive remarketing, automotive, or similar industry preferred.
• 1+ years’ sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred.
• Leverage relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
• Strong direct selling skills conducive to a commission‑based compensation plan.
• #DFS Minimum Qualifications 1+ years of experience High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Increase the buying and selling of used vehicles through Ally’s online auto auction.
• Train, equip, and enable dealer customers to utilize SmartAuction.
• Facilitate new dealer introductions, onboarding, training and providing overall sales support.
• Assist or lead dealer trainings (Zoom or in‑person) as needed.
• Attend meetings, dealer and remarketing trade shows and manage special projects as requested by management.
