Joshua Tree Experts in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a motivated Sales Arborist / Arborist Account Manager to own a dedicated territory and drive growth selling premium tree, lawn, and PHC services to affluent homeowners.

No prior arboriculture experience is required; we provide full training and expect you to leverage consultative selling, territory management, and strong communication to build lasting client relationships and meet high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of proven success in outside sales, B2C sales, or account management.
• Sales Capabilities: Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals, pipeline generation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent face-to-face presentation, phone etiquette, and customer service skills, with comfortable confidence engaging affluent homeowners.
• Problem-Solving & Tech Skills: Detail-oriented, comfortable with basic computer systems (CRM software experience is a plus).
• Licensing & Schedule: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; flexibility to work variable hours based on client schedules.
• Education: High school diploma required (college degree preferred).
• Industry Interest: A genuine interest in the green industry, landscaping, or tree care, with a commitment to learning plant health care (PHC) and tree identification.

Responsibilities

• Consultative Selling: Prospect, educate prospective clients, and close high-ticket service agreements.
• Territory Management: Grow your pipeline in high-end neighborhoods through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Estimating & Proposing: On-site inspections, calculate job costs, deliver professional estimates.
• Client Experience & Retention: Post-job follow-ups to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and lasting relationships.
• Operational Partnership: Coordinate with office staff on scheduling and with production crews to meet client specs.
