Job summary

Southern States Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an agronomic sales professional to grow our grower/producer accounts in the Southern States footprint. You will build relationships, provide technical agronomic recommendations, and identify new business opportunities while supporting sales growth.

The role includes a base salary range of $48,000-$75,000 with eligibility for commission. Strong product knowledge, CRM skills, and travel up to 95% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors preferred in agronomy or related field.
• Experience in agronomic sales and field scouting valued.
• Ability to develop relationships and grow business.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing and prospective customers to generate sales and provide agronomic recommendations.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to support retention and growth.
• Identify new business opportunities within the territory.
• Coordinate sales efforts with managers and operations to schedule product delivery.
• Promote SSC programs and farm industry partnerships.
• Use CRM tools to maintain records and reports.
• Attend grower and extension meetings and stay current on SSC products.
