Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a full-time Account Specialist in Steubenville, OH to drive local sales and support branch key accounts. You will build relationships, tailor solutions to customer needs, and help grow a defined book of business from the Steubenville branch at 742 N 7th St.

Responsibilities include developing a sales plan, servicing key accounts, and collaborating with team members to exceed goals. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a current full valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business/Marketing or related industry experience and knowledge of the local market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Lift/carry weights up to 50lbs (up to 75lbs in some cases).
• Pass the required drug screen (US/PR/Guam).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan in a local territory to reach and exceed sales goals.
• Support day-to-day needs of the branch's key accounts.
• Work directly with key accounts.
• Grow and maintain an assigned book of business.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
