Job summary

Fastenal is seeking a Full-time Account Specialist for our PAPOT Public Store at 371 Circle of Progress Dr, Pottstown, PA 19464. You will drive sales and customer service by building relationships and matching products to client needs, while supporting branch key accounts.

You will execute sales plans, manage an assigned book of business, and collaborate with the team to ensure branch success in a fast-paced setting. A degree in Business/Marketing or related experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Degree in Business/Marketing or related industry experience local to the market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong planning, organization and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills; customer service oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently or in a team.
• Lift/carry 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs as needed; pass drug screen where required.

OVERVIEW

Elevate your career as a Full-time Account Specialist, where you can take your sales and customer service skills to the next level. You'll be on the front lines of growing and supporting our branch key accounts, through building relationships and matching products and solutions to customer needs. This position is for our branch located at 371 Circle of Progress Dr, Pottstown, PA 19464.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and executing a sales plan in a local territory to reach and exceed sales goals
• Supporting the day-to-day needs of the branch's key accounts
• Working directly with key accounts
• Growing and maintaining an assigned book of business
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skillsHighly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
