Job summary

Regal Plastic, a long-standing leader in plastic sheet, rod, tube and film distribution, is looking for a Territory Account Manager to own an established territory and develop new business. You’ll build relationships, identify opportunities and work with a support team to deliver exceptional service.

You’ll manage existing accounts while expanding the customer base, conducting in-person visits, and providing solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect for and develop new business.
• Ability to manage and grow an existing customer base.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy to grow sales and profitability throughout your territory.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to expand those accounts.
• Prospect for new customers through research, referrals, networking, cold outreach and in-person visits.
• Identify customer applications and recommend material, fabrication and supply solutions that meet their needs.
• Manage an active pipeline of prospects and consistently convert qualified opportunities into customers.
• Conduct business-to-business sales calls both from the office and in the field.
