The Territory Account Manager is a results-oriented sales professional with demonstrated success in business development and expanding existing cybersecurity accounts to help enterprise organizations in the Greater Houston area address modern Cyber Security challenges. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively with IT, Risk, and Cyber Security leaders and their teams, leveraging Optiv’s extensive professional services resources and vendor partner solutions.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Own and coordinate all aspects of the sales cycle within your assigned accounts.
  • Build and execute a Territory Plan to pursue top accounts in your sales territory.
  • Use your business acumen to align business goals with cyber security risks, developing suitable solutions for clients.
  • Understand clients’ cyber security concerns and relate them to Optiv solutions that mitigate these risks.
  • Communicate Optiv’s value proposition effectively, highlighting security services, capabilities, and technology expertise.
  • Develop strong relationships with technology partners and sales personnel to generate and share leads, building a qualified pipeline and maximizing sales opportunities.
What we're looking for
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in IT, preferably Cyber Security, including product and services sales.
  • Experience in selling and negotiating integrated hardware, software, services, and financing solutions to Fortune 2000 and emerging growth companies.
  • Ability to research and cultivate relationships with key executives within assigned accounts/territory.
  • Proven success in territory and account prospecting and expansion plans.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and sales support teams.
  • Comfortable working remotely within a shared services environment.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas.
