Territory Account Manager Midwest | Independent Truck Upfitters | Remote

Regular Employee | Salary Exempt

What you'll do

As the Territory Account Manager (Midwest) for Independent Truck Upfitters (ITU) (A Shyft Brand), you will be responsible for building strong relationships and expanding our presence in the Midwest. Up to 50% of travel within the Midwest region is required (MI, OH, IN, WI, MN, IL, IA).

You will spend approximately 60% of your time on new business development and 40% nurturing existing customer relationships.

Core Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with existing commercial truck dealers, vocational customers, and fleet customers.
  • Identify and establish new accounts within the territory to expand market share.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, building long-term partnerships based on trust and mutual success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and present tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and track progress within the CRM system.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in business or a technical field, or equivalent outside sales experience.
  • Proven success in an outside or inside sales role, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of work truck body applications, equipment, and accessories.
  • Knowledge of GM, Ford, and Dodge commercial vehicle processes and bailment pools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM software.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the Midwest region.
