Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales of wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and engineered wood products. You will develop and maintain strong customer relationships across Residential, Single-family, Multi-family and Commercial projects.

The role focuses on meeting project timelines, generating new customers, and analyzing cost savings for clients while supporting credit lines and reporting on market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related area.
• 3–5 years’ experience selling wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and/or engineered wood products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and grow positive relationships with current customer base.
• Identify and meet timelines for project bids and order process.
• Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers.
• Generate new customers and grow existing customers through follow up.
• Offer value added solutions to customers.
• Assist in establishing customer credit lines.
• Monitors sales trends in assigned market.
• Prepares various reports as required.
• Accounts receivable management for commission collections.

Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and engineered wood products for Residential, Single-family, Multi-family, and Commercial projects by developing and maintaining customer contacts within any of the following areas.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and grows positive relationships with current customer base
• Identify and meet timelines for project bids and order process
• Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers
• Generate new customers and grow existing customers through follow up

• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related area
• Preferred minimum of 3-5 years’ experience selling wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and/or engineered wood products
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
• Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
• Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines
