Job summary

Boise Cascade Company is seeking an Account Manager to lead marketing and outside sales of a broad mix of building materials to dealer accounts. The role involves traveling the assigned territory, quoting prices, delivering sales presentations, and promoting products.

Qualifications include a college degree or equivalent experience; strong communication skills; and the ability to work independently or in teams. Knowledge of building materials is a plus. Travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive to customer sites, including active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and services to dealer accounts through personal customer contact and sales presentations.
• Develop sales strategies and promotions; provide training to customers and contractors.
• Resolve customer issues, respond to complaints, and manage promotional support and co-op programs.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor products and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
