Job summary

Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking an Account Manager to support growth across Northern Alabama and Eastern/Central Tennessee. You will expand the retail partner network, drive sales of the full product portfolio, and serve as a trusted advisor to growers and retailers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of agricultural sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop territory plans and budgets while traveling extensively within the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience in agriculture.
• Proven B2B sales track record.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage territory plans, sales forecasts, and budgets.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory growth by developing relationships with new retail partners.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Provide product education and solutions for growers and retailers.
• Develop annual territory business plans with forecasts and budgets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Customer Service to support customers.
• Monitor regulatory requirements relevant to the territory.
