Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking an Account Manager to grow Northern Alabama and Eastern/Central Tennessee including remote work components. You will expand the retail partner network, drive sales across the full product portfolio, and act as a trusted advisor to growers and retailers.

The role emphasizes territory planning, customer education, and collaboration with Marketing, R&D, and Customer Service to meet customer needs while navigating EPA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience in agriculture.
• Proven success in B2B sales and account management.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage territory plans, forecasts, and budgets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively in Northern Alabama and Eastern/Central Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand relationships with new retail partners and existing accounts to meet sales targets.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, lead gen, presentations, negotiations, and closing.
• Provide product education and become a trusted advisor to growers and retailers.
• Create annual territory plans with forecasts, budgets, and growth strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Customer Service to meet customer needs.
• Monitor regulatory requirements relevant to the territory and stay compliant.
