Job summary

JJ Haines, a leading flooring products distributor, is seeking an Account Executive to drive profitable revenue growth in the Charlotte, NC territory within our Builder Division. The role focuses on new business development and retention, coordinating with marketing, credit, operations and customer service to meet sales plans.

You will manage territory planning, provide quotes, maintain customer relationships, and support accounts receivable while upholding company credit and claims policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience with proven success.
• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in flooring industry and distribution preferred.
• Willing to travel within the designated sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals for gross sales, gross profit, and margins for product categories.
• Develop territory business plans and call on customers to sell products and services.
• Provide accurate prices and quotes for flooring products.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through visits, calls, and communications.
• Coordinate with marketing, credit, operations, and customer service to support accounts.
• Develop new accounts and opportunities by researching customer needs and market trends.
