Job summary

Greystar in Austin, TX is seeking a Groundskeeper for The Terrace to maintain the grounds, amenities, and curb appeal of the community. You will inspect the property, remove litter, prepare vacancies, and support the make-ready process while keeping storage areas clean and safe.

Role requires a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart, ability to work in all weather, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed; occasional travel to assist other

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community daily for litter and debris; keep common areas neat and safe.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments and prepare spaces for turnover.
• Complete routine service requests and assist make-ready specialists.
• Change locks and ensure pool gates operate per safety codes.
• Distribute notices to residents and communicate hazards to supervisors.
• Provide courteous resident service and respond to maintenance inquiries.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and safety policies.
• Travel occasionally to assist other properties and trainings.
