Job summary

Greystar, Coldwater, Austin, TX, is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain community grounds, support the service team, and ensure curb appeal. Duties include litter removal, trash cleanup, vacant apartment prep, lock changes, and safety checks while assisting with the turn process.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Onsite benefits and housing discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions and flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community daily to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings; keep common areas neat and free of litter.
• Clear out trash and remaining items from vacant apartments; prepare units for turnover.
• Assist with service requests and the make-ready process; support the make-ready specialist.
• Perform lock changes and ensure pool area gates meet safety standards and codes.
• Distribute notices to residents and communicate safety information to staff and residents.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and handle maintenance-related inquiries.
