Job summary

Dodson Pest Control in Pulaski, VA is seeking a motivated Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. In this role you will inspect residential and commercial properties, diagnose pest issues, and provide professional pest management services. No prior experience required; we provide thorough training.

A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to work with limited supervision are important. Schedule may include occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Acceptable driving record and background check.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Ability to access physically restrictive areas and areas of significant height.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in residential and commercial settings.
• Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers.
• Be customer service oriented at all times.
• Apply pesticides safely and effectively in accordance with the label and state regulations.
• Willingness to attend and complete training and to become a registered technician or licensed applicator.
• Willingness to adjust the standard work schedule to meet customer needs, including occasional Saturdays.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in both residential and commercial settings
• Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers in a professional manner
• Be customer service oriented at all times
• Apply pesticides in safely and effectively in accordance with the label and State regulations
• Willingness to attend and complete all scheduled training and to become a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator.
• Willingness to adjust standard work schedule to meet the needs of our customers, which may require occasional Saturday work
