Job summary

Dodson Pest Control is seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team in Virginia. The role involves diagnosing pest issues in both residential and commercial settings, delivering professional pest management services, and maintaining exceptional customer service.

Applicants should be prepared to apply pesticides in compliance with all labels and state regulations, participate in ongoing training, and potentially obtain technician registration or licensure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Ability to access physically restricted areas and heights.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose pest issues in residential and commercial settings.
• Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers professionally.
• Be customer service oriented at all times.
• Apply pesticides safely and effectively per label and state regulations.
• Willingness to attend and complete scheduled training and to become a registered technician or licensed applicator.
• Willingness to adjust schedule, including occasional Saturdays, to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Inspect and diagnose pest issues in both residential and commercial settings
2. Provide Pest Management services to residential and commercial customers in a professional manner
3. Be customer service oriented at all times
4. Apply pesticides in safely and effectively in accordance with the label and State regulations
5. Willingness to attend and complete all scheduled training and to become a registered technician or certified and/or licensed applicator.
6. Willingness to adjust standard work schedule to meet the needs of our customers, which may require occasional Saturday work

Qualifications for this position include:

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Acceptable driving record and background check
3. Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
4. Strong customer service skills
5. Ability to access physically restrictive areas and areas of significant height, with or without accommodation
