Job summary

Orkin is hiring a Home Construction & Service Technician (Termite Pro) in the Timonium area. Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour as you participate in hands-on termite prevention and home protection services.

You will follow a scheduled daily route, perform attic and crawl space installations, and complete required service documentation while upholding safety standards. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and promotion as you gain license eligibility and field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No pest control experience required — we’ll train you to be a Pro.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within the first 90 days (company-paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
• We comply with state and local employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily assigned route within your territory.
• Prepare and install services such as attic remediations, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barriers.
• Complete all required service-related documentation.
• Build trusted relationships and represent Orkin with pride.
• Work in environments including rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders, and confined spaces.
• Operate a company vehicle safely.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of job performance.
• Perform duties in all weather conditions.
