Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at our Durham Terminal in North Carolina. You will safely operate all location equipment used to load and unload rail cars, boats, and trucks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of requests.

We value high school graduates with 1–3 years of experience, basic computer skills, and knowledge of SAP. Expect a role focused on safety, teamwork, and on-site operations with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years work experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Load/unload materials (bulk and bagged) by waterway or road as location dictates.
• Operate and perform general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Commit to health, safety and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
