Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator in Durham, NC to safely operate equipment used for loading and unloading rail cars, boats and trucks. You will ensure accurate processing of requests and maintain a strong focus on safety.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, 1–3 years of experience, and basic computer skills including SAP. A mechanical background and welding experience are a plus; punctuality and teamwork are essential in this role at Amrize.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of work experience are preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs and SAP is required.
• Candidates with a mechanical background and welding experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment to load/unload rail cars, boats and trucks.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse and yard as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading of bulk and bagged materials by waterway and road where applicable.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment and assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
