Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at the Durham Terminal in North Carolina. You will safely operate equipment to load and unload rail cars, boats, and trucks while ensuring order accuracy and timely processing of requests.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of work experience. Basic computer skills, Microsoft programs and SAP familiarity are expected. The role emphasizes safety, maintenance tasks, and effective communication with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 years.
• Technical familiarity: SAP and Microsoft Office used in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely manage all equipment at the location used to load and unload rail cars, boats, or trucks.
• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard and surrounding areas.
• Load/unload material by waterway or road, handling bulk and bagged goods as location allows.
• Perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with mechanical upkeep.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental policies and wear Amrize-approved PPE.
